OPENING DAY 2001-2002 (11-12-01)
I got the news of today's opening off the internet - I rushed up like a
madman to get ready for my journey. I had come home the day
before, guessing that opening day would be Tuesday - Wrong.....
When I pulled into Hunter, I spent a few minutes getting the PH Web Cam back
on line - so I was running late. When I finally got to the Quad it was
around 10:30.
The snowmaking was blazing - Tower guns and the portable guns. The usual
H>B>K (Hellgate to Broadway to Kennedy) was target.
Skiing was from the Quad to
the F Chair.
