Hunter Mountain Report

1-15-02

Another Hunter weekend.

Saturday the sun shined for part of the day and the snow softened up by about 11:30. Crossover and Clairs were great! Lower K was respectable, Anna was edgeable. Some riders had BIG smiles after shreading ther right side of Crossover all day!

Sunday, well Sunday was a bit windy, the west side closed down early and the F chair followed shortly behind. The D was the way to go. No line on the D, Racers and Ike had great snow. Huge tele-turns to be had on Bleeker. Overall, an OK day.

Monday was the first local-motion race. Conditions were great for the race. Results can be viewed at www.nastar.com.

Let's wish for snow and brace ourselves for the holiday weekend to come.

Bottom line: We need some snow to expand our terrain. Let's just keep hopin'. See you a Tequillas!
